This programme provides ophthalmic non-medical professionals with the opportunity to undertake advanced clinical training through flexible study, to develop clinical practice and to contribute to the advancement of eye care delivery in primary, secondary or tertiary care settings. UCL Institute of Ophthalmology has partnered with Moorfields Eye Hospital to provide this challenging and rewarding programme.

Training will enable multidisciplinary ophthalmic clinicians and scientists to carry out extended roles in ophthalmology as well as providing the scientific knowledge required in these areas.

This degree is also available as a PG Diploma and a PG Certificate with fees set accordingly.

Employability
The programme is designed to teach you to apply knowledge from a range of clinical subjects to extended roles in ophthalmology and advanced clinical practice in optometry and clinical leadership.
