This course will learn the fundamental principles and practice of records management and digital preservation for a career in this sector, either in the UK or overseas We teach records management and digital preservation by focusing on the core principles, theory and practice. Our focus is very much on a mix of the theoretical and the practical. You must be working or volunteering in an appropriate professional environment both prior to and throughout your studies so you can apply what you are learning. As part of this course, you will research and write a dissertation on a topic of your own interest.
You will develop your understanding of records management and digital preservation practice and tradition. This course will provide you with an in-depth knowledge of the management of current and semi-current records, and give you a thorough understanding of how digital records should be managed, preserved and retrieved. You’ll receive a lot of online content right from the start and benefit from our flexible teaching model that allows students to take semesters off and learn from subject experts.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students with a Bachelor degree with an overall average grade of 75% or above from a recognised university will be considered and borderline cases if the student has a relevant degree and good grades in relevant subjects and/or relevant work experience of at least 5 years will also be considered. IELTS score of 6.5 overall, including at least 6.0 in writing and 6.0/5.5 in the other three components.
