在這里學(xué)什么?
This course gives you the opportunity to specialise in the advanced aspects of business research topics. In particular, we offer research opportunities across the following disciplines: accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing. This course is specifically designed to prepare you for further study such as a PhD. We offer a wide choice of modules allowing you to specialise in your chosen area of focus.
You’ll gain the skills you need for your doctorate by studying areas such as research methods and methodology, qualitative methods in social research, and quantitative/econometric methods. You will be able to study a Directed Reading module, specially designed for you by your supervisory team.
You will:
- critically evaluate research in your specialist area of business
- learn about the different aspects of business research
- apply a range of research methods to examine a specialist area of research
- communicate complex and specialised issues clearly and concisely
- work intensively on a research-based dissertation
Careers:
This specialised course is designed for students intending to pursue further study (e.g. PhD). Recent graduates are undertaking doctoral studies in the UK and elsewhere with graduates employed in universities all over the world.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students with a Bachelor degree with an overall average grade of 75% or above from a recognised university will be considered and borderline cases if the student has a relevant degree and good grades in relevant subjects and/or relevant work experience of at least 5 years will also be considered. IELTS score of 6.5 overall, including at least 6.0 in writing and 6.0/5.5 in the other three components.
