GW’s Educational Leadership and Administration program has garnered national recognition from the Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC) and is nationally accredited and recognized as a program of distinction by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
The programs have been designed for the working professional in the K-12 arena and diverse school communities interested in various school-based and central office leadership and supervisory positions, increased responsibility in teaching, and advanced levels of professional responsibility. The Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degrees have been designed to meet the required credits, courses, and field experiences that are part of the administrative licensure process in the District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Virginia, and many other states. Graduates are prepared for positions of assistant principal, principal and instructional supervision.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 To be eligible for admission, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Applicants who have earned their degrees outside of the US must hold degrees from institutions in compliance with their national standards. Academic IELTS: an overall band score of 6.0 with no individual score below 5.0; or TOEFL: 550 on paper-based or 80 on Internet-based test; or PTE Academic: 53.
