Key information
Primary care is central to the health and well-being of individuals and communities, providing the majority of preventive, treatment and rehabilitation services. You will learn about the latest theory and practice influencing primary care provision and critically evaluate approaches to developing and delivering effective services.
Who is this course for?
If you are a registered nurse working in general practice this programme will enable you to develop your professional skills supported by the latest research and evidence-based practice.
The programme is focused on clinical practice, with a strong emphasis on analysing and interpreting theory and research and applying evidence to the practice setting.
The flexible modular structure means that you can study to undergraduate, postgraduate diploma or master’s level.
Career
Successful completion of your programme will equip you with additional specialist knowledge that will enhance your clinical practice and demonstrate your commitment to your profession.
You will be well placed to progress in your career, and specialise in certain clinical areas and the care and management of long-term conditions.

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants will be considered for most postgraduate courses with a good Chinese bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. Students who don’t meet the requirements for direct entry may opt to undertake a graduate preparation programme. Students successfully completing INTO City’s Graduate Diploma or Kaplan International College London’s Pre-Master’s Course at the required level will have guaranteed entry into City’s postgraduate degrees. English language requirements will vary from course to course and the information on this page is only intended to be a general guide.
