Key information
Develop your legal practice abilities with an extensive research project undertaken during our Legal Practice LLM. You will have completed your LPC and further commit to one area of law by conducting research and submitting a dissertation in your chosen specialism.
Benefits of this course
You will learn independently by forming a dissertation proposal and, if accepted, undertaking research and writing.
We will give you the support of an experienced legal expert from The City Law School.
You have total freedom to decide on your own subject, although our tutors can offer guidance.
Previous subjects have included medical negligence tribunals, company directors’ statutory duties, pre-nuptial contracts and Sharia law.
Award
You can select to apply for one of the available exit points for this course.

Who is this course for?
If you have completed your LPC with us at The City Law School and want to improve your prospects while demonstrating a specific commitment to legal practice, this programme is ideal.
This course is only available if you completed the LPC before September 2017 and within five years of completion.
You will be self-motivated and organised as this is a distance learning course with no taught lessons.
Career
By the end of the Legal Practice LLM you will have built a strong specialist knowledge base and developed transferable skills in research and writing. Your career prospects will be significantly enhanced.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants will be considered for most postgraduate courses with a good Chinese bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. Students who don’t meet the requirements for direct entry may opt to undertake a graduate preparation programme. Students successfully completing INTO City’s Graduate Diploma or Kaplan International College London’s Pre-Master’s Course at the required level will have guaranteed entry into City’s postgraduate degrees. English language requirements will vary from course to course and the information on this page is only intended to be a general guide.
