Build the vital skills in research and reporting that are needed to form robust investigations with the power to change lives and society. Our pioneering Investigative Journalism MA is an intensely challenging programme that focuses on the practical investigative abilities required to succeed.
Benefits of this course
We aim to give you the skills to quickly progress from the basics of writing news for print or online, to producing audio-visual journalism for TV, radio and online.
You will learn how to investigate and communicate across multimedia platforms, and work ethically and legally.
Our programme covers how to investigate using open and closed sources, different interviewing techniques, how to use access to information laws, and ethical undercover work.
You will learn through the production of your own professional grade piece of investigative work.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants will be considered for most postgraduate courses with a good Chinese bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. Students who don’t meet the requirements for direct entry may opt to undertake a graduate preparation programme. Students successfully completing INTO City’s Graduate Diploma or Kaplan International College London’s Pre-Master’s Course at the required level will have guaranteed entry into City’s postgraduate degrees. English language requirements will vary from course to course and the information on this page is only intended to be a general guide.
