This course will sharpen your understanding of the broad disciplines involved, from corporate finance to asset pricing, international finance to corporate governance. The jobs are there, and they’re both exciting and well paid. They also demand intellectual rigour and commercial acumen. Select this course and prepare yourself. Throughout your studies, you’ll focus on quantitative methods, enabling you to understand the cutting-edge techniques in use today. Their ability to analyse corporate reorganisations, such as mergers and acquisitions, make them ideal candidates for roles in corporate finance advisory teams in investment banks. A key part of this degree is the opportunity to gain professional work experience or a period of study abroad. Students are eligible to apply for a one-year paid work placement which takes places during the third year of a four-year sandwich degree course. Cass students enjoy a wide range of opportunities in business areas such as corporate finance, operations, sales and trading, prime brokerage and hedge funds. The BSc (Hons) Finance degree is taught alongside the BSc (Hons) Banking and International Finance and BSc (Hons) Investment and Financial Risk Management. Students can switch between degrees at any time during the first one-and-a-half years of the course (subject to availability of places). (1) Financial Times European Business School Ranking 2019
