專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ This combined major educates students in cognitive psychology, psycholinguistics, and the structures of human languages in general and American Sign Language (ASL) in particular. Students have an opportunity to simultaneously gain proficiency in speaking and interpreting ASL, giving them access to the culture of Deaf Americans; insights into various features of spoken language; and firsthand experience of the principles underlying the spatial organization of discourse required by signed languages. This knowledge and the psychology background from the major provide a foundation for more advanced studies of ASL and interpreting.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students are required to complete secondary school graduation equivalent to US high school. English language score: 99 and 107 on the TOEFL iBT, 7.0 and 8.0 on the IELTS Academic, 68 to 74 on the PTE Academic, and 185 to 204 on the Cambridge English Scale.
