Recent cyber attacks have highlighted the importance of cyber security. Organizations need professionals at all levels—not just in the IT department—who understand the technical, legal and business aspects of cyber security risk management, as well as how to safeguard privacy.
Only the MS in Cyber security Risk Management from Indiana University will give you the unique—and valuable—ability to identify and mitigate a wide range of cyber threats in your chosen career path.
Students can earn concentrations within the MS, or they may take a more ‘general’ track. Before enrolling in the MS, you might be interested in earning one of IU’s cyber security certificates. All credits earned as a certificate student apply to the MS.
Your holistic training will prepare you to:
- Protect privacy and intellectual property
- Promote information and systems security
- Address cyber threats to national and international security
Courses include:
- At least 6 credit hours from Technical Cyber security
- At least 6 credit hours from Information Technology Risk Management
- At least 6 credit hours from Cyber security Law and Policy
- Cyber security Capstone
