This is an intercollegiate, non-thesis professional degree program co-administered by the College of Natural Resources, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and College of Veterinary Medicine. No minor is required.
The Master of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology degree program provides students the opportunity to pursue a non-thesis master's degree.
Degree Requirements
The Master of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology degree requires a minimum of 36 credits, including four to six hours of special problems and one to two hours of seminars. A professional paper is also required. Further requirements may be imposed by a student’s advisory committee.
Students majoring in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology are required to take AEC 502 (2 cr), offered every fall semester. In the case AEC 502 is not offered, FW 602/802 will be offered as a replacement.
