專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ Studying Forensic Science at Kent will give you the chance to study many forensic disciplines, with a focus on developing scientific and analytical skills, preparing you for employment or further study. We create ‘crime scenes’ - using our brand new crime scene house - for you to examine, investigate and react in real time to an unfolding event. Our fascinating and distinct course also gives you a solid understanding of analytical chemistry, opening up a wider range of career opportunities, as well as demonstrating how your forensic skills can be used within archaeology and the food and pharmaceutical industries. We also have a specialist employer engagement officer who can help you secure valuable internship and training opportunities to increase your career potential. Our four-year course, includes a paid work placement after your second year of study, which can help further enhance your employability. We can offer help and advice in finding a placement, and keep in touch with you throughout the year. Our Forensic Science courses are accredited by The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences and all students on the programme are offered free student membership for the duration of their degree. Kent has the largest block of student members of the society than any other university worldwide.
