在這里學(xué)什么？ Studying an integrated Masters in Chemistry will give you a valuable postgraduate qualification which can help give you the edge in the job market. Our four-year MChem degree in Chemistry programme will give you advanced skills as well as the opportunity to work as part of a research group conducting cutting-edge research.Studying at Kent, you are involved in live research and develop skills that can be applied to some of the key challenges of the 21st century – such as human health and the world’s increasing energy demands. Our distinctive programme includes modules in organic, inorganic and physical chemistry as well as a set of ‘chemistry in context’ modules where you apply your knowledge to specific case studies such as Disasters, DNA analysis and fires and explosions. In your final year, you complete either an experimental or computational research project, where you work with an academic supervisor in an area that you wish to specialise in. As part of their research team you will gain invaluable practical experience as well as an understanding of the challenges and rewards of extending knowledge in your field. At the School of Physical Sciences we link our world-leading research on materials chemistry to our undergraduate programmes – which are all accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry. All practical classes take place in our newly refurbished laboratories, where you use the latest equipment. We also have a specialist employer engagement officer who can help you secure valuable internship and training opportunities to increase your career potential.
