在這里學(xué)什么？
This programme is research-oriented. A student is required to:
- Complete an approved programme of supervised research;
- Present a written thesis which demonstrates an advanced level of knowledge and understanding in the candidate’s field of study and which describes and summarizes the research undertakings and findings;
- Satisfy the Board of Examiners in an oral examination (and any other examination if deemed necessary), on matters relevant to the subject of the thesis; and
- Comply with supervision, attendance and all coursework requirements as laid down by the respective Faculty/ School/AVA.
This programme focuses on the following research areas: youth studies; mental health; psychiatric rehabilitation, social policy; children and family work; health care; empowerment and narrative practice; gender studies; counselling and clinical supervision; social welfare in Hong Kong and China; critical social works; and community development; career and life planning.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants should normally hold a Bachelor's degree for admission to a Taught Postgraduate degree programme; English Language Requirements: TOEFL - 550 (Paper-based), 79 (Internet-based); or IELTS (Academic): Overall Band at 6.5; or CET-6 (College English Test band 6): 450.
