The Master of Social Impact (MSI) is designed for high-performing students seeking to build skills and advance their careers in the growing field of social impact. Whether working in the philanthropy and not-for-profit sector in managerial roles, the private sector in corporate social responsibility, or government in a policy-making capacity, the MSI provides the core capabilities required to lead people effectively in a rapidly changing social economy and business environment. The foundation units address social investment and philanthropy, social entrepreneurship and innovation, creativity and design, and corporate responsibility and accountability. Graduates also acquire specialist knowledge in evaluation and impact measurement, social entrepreneurship, and advanced real-world experience in strategic philanthropy and social venture development.

The Master of Social Impact (MSI) is designed for individuals seeking to build skills and advance their careers in the growing field of social impact. Whether a social entrepreneur, working within the philanthropy and not for profit sector in a management or innovation role, in the private sector in corporate responsibility and social innovation, or in government policy dealing with complex social issues, the MSI provides core capabilities required to lead people effectively in a rapidly changing social economy and business environment.

Aims and objectives
Upon successfully completing the Master of Social Impact, graduates will be able to:
- apply coherent and advanced knowledge of social impact concepts in diverse contexts and applications using critical thinking
- apply problem solving, design and decision making methodologies to identify and provide innovative solutions to complex problems with intellectual independence
- communicate proficiently in professional practice to a variety of audiences, function as an effective member or leader of a diverse team, and use basic tools and practices of social impact within project work
- demonstrate professionalism, integrity, ethical conduct, accountability, respect and an awareness of professional practices and cultural norms in a global and sustainable context
- apply fundamentals to the analysis, design and operation of a business model using appropriate social impact methods and tools.
