Course description
With our Master of Marketing, gain specialist knowledge to progress your career in an ever increasing digital and data driven environment. Marketing has become one of the most significant and powerful tools in the world of business and its study is relevant to all areas of business life. A knowledge of marketing can help individuals and business organizations understand how to use their resources to the best advantage in a changing environment.
The Master of Marketing forms the third stage in a nested suite of programs consisting of:
- Graduate Certificate of Marketing
- Graduate Diploma of Marketing (GD-MKT)
- Master of Marketing (MA-MKT) or
Career opportunities
You will be capable of taking a whole-of-business approach to marketing and will be equipped to take on senior roles in digital marketing, advertising, branding, consultancy, market research, corporate communications and customer experience.
Aims and objectives
At completion of the Master of Marketing, graduates will be able to:
- apply coherent and advanced knowledge of marketing concepts in diverse contexts and applications using critical thinking
- apply problem solving, design and decision-making methodologies to identify and provide innovative solutions to complex problems with reference to established frameworks
- communicate proficiently in professional practice to a variety of audiences, function as an effective member or leader of a diverse team, and use advanced tools and practices of marketing within project work
- demonstrate integrity, ethical conduct, accountability, respect and a broad awareness of professional practices and cultural norms in a global and sustainable context
- apply marketing fundamentals to the analysis, design and operation of a business model using appropriate marketing methods and tools
- reflect on and take responsibility for their own learning and self-management processes, and develop skills to review, reflect on and plan to improve their professional performance
- apply knowledge of research principles and methods to plan and execute a piece of research with some independence.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Standard entry: A recognised three-year Bachelor degree with a minimum average score of 60 per cent; or A recognised AQF level 8 qualification in a cognate area, such as the Graduate Certificate of Media and Communication; Completion of the Postgraduate Qualifying Program with a minimum average score of 60%.
