在這里學(xué)什么？
The Graduate Certificate of Business Information Systems has been designed to provide students with an understanding of the use and management of information systems in organisations. The course offers students the knowledge and skills required to work as an analyst in this field. Students learn about the underpinnings of information systems, including studies in business analysis, IT project management and enterprise information management, requirements analysis, database design and professional issues. They also learn how to approach organisational problems from a broader interdisciplinary perspective.
Aims and objectives
Upon successfully completing the Graduate Certificate of Business Information Systems, graduates will be able to:
Demonstrate coherent and advanced knowledge of the inter-disciplinary nature of information systems in organisations
Critically evaluate the underpinnings of information systems, including
Critically evaluate a range of theories and practices pertaining to the use of information systems in organisations, and apply them in the context of business analysis, project management and information management
Critically analyse organisational problems from both a broader information systems perspective and the specific perspective of business analysis, project management or information management
Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and develop effective working relationships.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants are required to have one of the following: a bachelor degree (or higher award) in a related discipline from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; OR a recognised bachelor degree (or higher award) in any discipline PLUS a minimum of two (2) years equivalent full-time relevant professional experience* OR a minimum of three years equivalent full-time relevant professional experience*. English language requirements: Swinburne’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 70%, all skills 65%; minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0; TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 79 with a reading band no less than 18 and writing band no less than 20; Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 58 (no communicative skills less than 50).
