The UniLink Bridging Program (Engineering) prepares students for entry to the Diploma of Engineering (UniLink). This program will help you build your knowledge and give you confidence to communicate at a tertiary level, particularly in an engineering setting. You’ll gain the early practical and foundational skills used across engineering specialisations, including civil engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering and more. If you want to progress to further tertiary study, a broader range of opportunities may become available from electrical and electronic engineering, robotics and mechanical engineering, telecommunications, architectural engineering to product design, and construction.
Career opportunities
This program enables students to gain the initial understanding of engineering related subjects: chemistry, mathematics, communication, science and physics. Further tertiary studies in engineering specialisations can open up a range of career opportunities in civil engineering, construction engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, robotics and mechanical engineering, telecommunications engineering, architectural engineering, biomedical engineering and product design engineering.
Aims and objectives
The UniLink Bridging Program (Engineering) aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills and capabilities required to meet the entry requirements to progress to a UniLink diploma. The program is designed for international students whose primary language is not English and who have completed an Australian Year 12 equivalent but have not met the ATAR or grade required to enter the UniLink course.

English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic Module) - Overall 6.0 No individual band below 6.0; TOEFL iBT - 75 (Reading no less than 18, Writing no less than 20); PTE Academic - 50 (no communicative skill less than 50).
