Swinburne Foundation Year (Science / Engineering) (8 months) is a pre-university program for international students. It is designed to help students meet the entry requirements for first-year university or progress to a UniLink diploma.
Swinburne Foundation Year (Science / Engineering) (12 months) is a pre-university program for international students. It is designed to help students meet the entry requirements for first-year university or progress to a UniLink diploma.
Students will develop fundamental communication, information technology (IT) and finite mathematics skills. They will also undertake units in physics, chemistry and science/engineering mathematics.
It can equip students for further studies in a range of science and engineering-related areas, such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, aviation, photonics, biotechnology or telecommunication and internet technologies.

Successful completion of a related bachelor degree after Swinburne Foundation Year (Science/ Engineering) (8 months) can open up a range of career opportunities. Students may find employment in engineering, biotechnology, management, medicine, mining, network administration, telecommunications and transport.

English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic Module) - Overall 6.0 No individual band below 6.0; TOEFL iBT - 75 (Reading no less than 18, Writing no less than 20); PTE Academic - 50 (no communicative skill less than 50).
