Swinburne Foundation Year (Design) (8 months) is a pre-university program for international students. It is designed to help students meet the entry requirements for first-year university or progress to a UniLink Diploma. Students will develop fundamental communication, information technology (IT) and mathematics skills. They will also get an introduction to specialised areas such drawing, illustration and graphic design. It provides an overview of the historical and contextual basis for design as well as providing an introduction to the practical skills and the aesthetic engagement required of a designer.
Career opportunities
Swinburne Foundation Year (Design) (8 months) enables students to gain the initial skills toward key design areas, such as communication design (graphic design), multimedia design (digital media design), interior design and industrial design.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students are required to complete international academic qualification equivalent to Australian year 12. International Baccalaureate IB Diploma: 24. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic Module) - Overall 6.0 No individual band below 6.0; TOEFL iBT - 75 (Reading no less than 18, Writing no less than 20); PTE Academic - 50 (no communicative skill less than 50).
