在這里學(xué)什么？ Are you fascinated by the way film and television reflect and shape the world we live in? You might aspire to work in any number of roles in the cultural or media industries. You don’t need to have studied film or television previously – you just need a passion for the subject and a critical and curious mind.Film and television studies comes to life at UEA in a number of ways. Alongside the more traditional lectures and seminars with world-leading academics, you will attend regular film and television screenings. You’ll also have access to UEA’s television studio and our state-of-the-art Media Suite. Both contain cutting edge media technologies, including editing suites, cameras, sound equipment, a sound studio and a digitisation suite. You will have the opportunity to be fully trained in how to use this equipment, deepening your understanding of how film and television programmes are produced.With more emphasis on production, this course develops your creative work through the exploration of critical studies in film and television history and theory. You will produce your own film and television content and will gain experience of writing for different media. At the same time, you will study the broader contexts of film and television. The work might include directing for the screen, single-camera video and multi-camera television, and screenwriting. Later in your studies, you will have the opportunity to specialise in such topics as adaptation, devised film-making, directing and working with actors, and you may wish to pursue an independent media practice project.
