And how can this economy be best aligned with human goals?By asking these questions you will get under the skin of business and politics. You'll develop an understanding of what makes the world tick. You'll discover how economic policy can affect social change. And you'll start to form your own ideas about how to make our world a better place.In your third year you will spend a year abroad at one of our many partner universities across the world. This is your chance to study your degree while immersed in a completely different culture – giving you the academic and personal experience of a lifetime.**Overview**Learn how the economy works and how to improve it with our core degree programme with a year abroad. This course is for you if you like to work hard, question everything and gain career-shaping skills and experience through living and studying abroad.You will explore all areas of the economy, from microeconomic and macroeconomic perspectives. You will also learn quantitative methods, economic modelling techniques, and how to collect and analyse data.Most importantly, you will discover what really excites you about economics, and you’ll be able to take your studies in the direction you choose.Economics touches many other subjects, so alongside your core subjects you’ll also be able to enhance your studies with classes from UEA’s School of Politics, Philosophy, Language and Communication Studies.
