The Master in Plant Health Management (MPHM) is a professional master's degree with a curriculum that combines practical plant health training with professional skills. MPHM is well suited for recent graduates and working professionals aiming for advancement or a career change. MPHM is the university's first program to achieve affiliation in the National Professional Science Master's Association. The program, which is jointly administered by the Departments of Plant Pathology and Entomology, is educating professionals for growing workforce needs in food production and environmental sustainability.

The Master in Plant Health Management is a Professional Science Master's program that integrates both academic and professional training for careers in plant health management.
Students can select from courses in 7 academic units covering topics in plant disease management, integrated pest management, statistics, soil science, weed science, Extension education and leadership, agribusiness and more.
Combining classroom and e-learning delivery, the program is geared toward students and working professionals who wish to develop plant health expertise for advancement a career change.
