This Construction Project Management course equips you with the theoretical knowledge and practical and technical skills to manage people and projects within the construction industry. A range of core modules covering management, procurement and technology-related subjects will give you a foundation in management principles while providing practical skills relevant to professional practice in construction. You will also choose an optional module from a range of subjects drawn from our built environment courses, providing you with a broader understanding of built environment issues and an opportunity to tailor your studies to fit your interests and professional needs. Students will also achieve PGDip and PGCert awards in this course. This industry-focused programme ensures graduates are quickly able to make a positive and effective contribution to their working environment, and as such are in great demand by construction industry employers. This course offers a number of guest lectures each year specific to the modules where experienced professionals from industry visit to share their knowledge and experience with students. There is also an annual industry and professions day, which is an interactive forum to bring together students on the course with relevant employers and representatives from the professions. Three institutes accredit this MSc in Construction Project Management: Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors; Chartered Institute of Building; Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors. The University is also a Corporate Member of the Association for Project Management. All these professional bodies offer our students free student memberships, study help and networking opportunities to support the process of becoming a future leader of the profession.

Art and Design: 985 University (65%), 211 University (68%), Other Institutions(70%). Exceptions to the above: For Masters Programmes in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics students are required to have 80% or above. For Masters Programmes in Brewing and Distilling students are required to have 80% or above. For Masters Programmes in Photonics, students are required to have 75% or above. Students require IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each element or an acceptable equivalent.
