專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ This is a programme run in partnership with Forth Valley College. The first two years are delivered at Forth Valley College, with some input from Heriot-Watt University in the 2nd year. After 2nd year, the remainder of the programme is delivered at Heriot-Watt University and all students are transferred onto one of the mainstream degrees (e.g. MEng Mechanical Engineering), which are accredited by IMechE.The first year includes the fundamentals of mechanical engineering, supported by maths and physics. The second year includes Mechanical Engineering, supported by Maths units (identical Maths to that taken by the students at Heriot-Watt and assessed in the same way). Assuming sufficient grades are achieved in 2nd year, students on this programme automatically progress into 3rd year of the BEng(Hons) Mechanical Engineering at the Heriot-Watt campus. Subsequently students can make the choice about continuing on BEng or transferring to MEng (dependent on 3rd year grades). Programme content for 3rd year and above is identical to the other Mechanical Engineering programmes at Heriot-Watt University.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) If you have obtained very good grades in qualification such as A-Levels, you would be eligible to apply for advanced entry into Year 2 of our programmes. You require IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each element or an acceptable equivalent.
