專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ This is a programme run in partnership with Forth Valley College. The first two years are delivered at Forth Valley College, with some input from Heriot-Watt University in the 2nd year. After 2nd year, the remainder of the programme is delivered at Heriot-Watt University and all students are transferred onto one of the mainstream degrees, which are accredited by IChemE.The first year includes the fundamentals of chemical engineering, supported by maths and chemistry. The second year includes chemical engineering, supported by maths (identical maths to that taken by the students at Heriot-Watt and assessed in the same way) and a substantial project in partnership with other chemical engineering students at Heriot-Watt. Assuming sufficient grades are achieved in 2nd year, students on this programme are guaranteed a place in 3rd year at Heriot-Watt and are automatically transferred to BEng(Hons) Chemical Engineering. Subsequently students can make the choice about continuing on BEng or transferring to MEng (dependent on 3rd year grades). Programme content for 3rd year and above is identical to the other Chemical Engineering programmes at Heriot-Watt University.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) If you have obtained very good grades in qualification such as A-Levels, you would be eligible to apply for advanced entry into Year 2 of our programmes. You require IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each element or an acceptable equivalent.
