在這里學(xué)什么？ Sports Technology combines the excellence of both Sports Science and Technology. Focusing upon the design and manufacture of sports equipment, this course covers industrial design, human factors and marketing for the sports equipment sector.Worth over ￡3bn a year in the UK alone, the sports equipment market is buoyant and growing. Participation in sport continues to expand around the world, and in the UK approximately 64% of the population take some form of exercise. As the sector expands, more resources are allocated to research and development in order to deliver new and more innovative products.The IED and IET accredited MEng courses are intended for students wishing to pursue a career in the expanding sports-related industry sector. The courses are broad based and cover Sports Science, Design, Technology and Engineering Science.Major themes focus on sports equipment and facilities, the design of sports equipment, the use of materials in equipment design, methods of manufacture, the role of computer aided design, ergonomic aspects in sports equipment design, biomechanics, sports physiology, evaluation and testing of sports equipment and business studies for the sports industry.The first two years of the MEng Sports Technology course provide you with sports equipment design and technology studies, combined with a foundation of technology theory and practice. The courses offer module choices in the third and fourth academic year. Modules are supported by project work, tutorials and computer workshops.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) AAB (excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking, Communication and Culture and Citizenship Studies). In some circumstances we may ask applicants to achieve specific grades in certain subjects. While no specific A Level (or equivalent) subjects are required, we strongly prefer combinations drawn from traditional (academic) subjects to demonstrate a range of numerical, analytical and discursive abilities. These A Levels include: Ancient History, Biology, Classical Civilisation, Chemistry, Economics, English Language/Literature, Geography, Government and Politics, History, Languages (non-native), Law, Maths/Further Maths, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and Statistics.
