在這里學(xué)什么？ Sport with a Foundation Year is only available to students performing at a very high standard in a chosen sport, who wish to study at Loughborough, but do not have the required qualifications due to sporting commitments.Sport with a Foundation Year is the ideal course for students who wish to combine their sports training with academic study. Completing a foundation year will enable you to progress onto the first year of one of our sports-related degree courses, provided the relevant progression criteria are metOur foundation course is taught in-house by University staff including specialist Foundation teaching staff. As a student on the course you will be a full member of the University, with the same access to the Students’ Union, clubs, societies, sports facilities and support departments. You will be taught through a combination of lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials, labs and field trips (module choice dependent). During the year you will undertake modules in Sport Science with a choice from Biology, Modelling and Statistical Mathematics, Applicable Mathematics, Geography, Chemistry, Psychology with Sociology, Materials with Engineering Science and Business.Completing a foundation year can be a real attribute to your overall degree success. It not only opens doors to courses that may have previously looked closed, but also provides a sound base on which to establish a successful academic career. Many who have completed the foundation year have also said how beneficial it was to them in supporting their transition into University life A full complement of the highest quality Support Services will be available to those on Sports with a Performance Programme.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) AAB (excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking, Communication and Culture and Citizenship Studies). In some circumstances we may ask applicants to achieve specific grades in certain subjects. While no specific A Level (or equivalent) subjects are required, we strongly prefer combinations drawn from traditional (academic) subjects to demonstrate a range of numerical, analytical and discursive abilities. These A Levels include: Ancient History, Biology, Classical Civilisation, Chemistry, Economics, English Language/Literature, Geography, Government and Politics, History, Languages (non-native), Law, Maths/Further Maths, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and Statistics.
