專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ Autonomous and robotic systems are ever growing around us; from industrial robotic arms in production chains, to robot vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers, self-driving cars and drones to space robotics or any other Mechatronic or autonomous system.There is a strong strategic direction for global industry in Robotics and Automated Systems (RAS) as evidenced by a host of national and international strategy documents and networks. Companies are developing robotic and autonomous solutions and products, but now need graduate engineers with the expertise to define the technology.The aim of our new course is to provide core skills and knowledge in Robotics, Mechatronics and Control disciplines. The programme will enable students to understand the fundamental processes and techniques in autonomous systems, blending subject matter that includes; electronics, control, manufacturing principles, and mechanics.Our IET accredited MEng and BEng Robotics, Mechatronics and Control Engineering courses combine theoretical and practical engineering principles, with application to real industrial problems.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) AAB (excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking, Communication and Culture and Citizenship Studies). In some circumstances we may ask applicants to achieve specific grades in certain subjects. While no specific A Level (or equivalent) subjects are required, we strongly prefer combinations drawn from traditional (academic) subjects to demonstrate a range of numerical, analytical and discursive abilities. These A Levels include: Ancient History, Biology, Classical Civilisation, Chemistry, Economics, English Language/Literature, Geography, Government and Politics, History, Languages (non-native), Law, Maths/Further Maths, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and Statistics.
