在這里學(xué)什么？ Human Biology with a Foundation Year is only available to students performing at a very high standard in a chosen sport, who wish to study at Loughborough, but do not have the required qualifications due to sporting commitments.This course is designed for students who wish to combine their sports training with academic study.Completing a foundation year will enable you to progress onto the first year of the Human Biology degree course, provided the relevant progression criteria are metOur foundation course is taught in-house by University staff. As a student on the course you will be a full member of the University, with the same access to the Students’ Union, clubs, societies, sports facilities and support departments.You will be taught through a combination of lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials. During the year you will undertake core modules in Sport Science and Biology and options from other areas including Maths, Geography, Chemistry, Sociology & Psychology.Completing a foundation year can be a real attribute to your overall degree success. It not only opens doors to courses that may have previously looked closed, but also provides a sound base on which to establish a successful academic career. Many who have completed the foundation year have also said how beneficial it was to them in supporting their transition into University life.The Foundation Studies course also offers the opportunity for students performing at a very high standard in their chosen sport, who wish to study at Loughborough, but do not have the required qualifications due to sporting commitments. 為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) AAB (excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking, Communication and Culture and Citizenship Studies). In some circumstances we may ask applicants to achieve specific grades in certain subjects. While no specific A Level (or equivalent) subjects are required, we strongly prefer combinations drawn from traditional (academic) subjects to demonstrate a range of numerical, analytical and discursive abilities. These A Levels include: Ancient History, Biology, Classical Civilisation, Chemistry, Economics, English Language/Literature, Geography, Government and Politics, History, Languages (non-native), Law, Maths/Further Maths, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and Statistics.
