專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ Combining the creativity of architecture with the rigour of engineering, the Architectural Engineer plays a key role in the production of an ever-more complex and sustainable built environment.Architectural Engineers maintain an overview of the whole building process, from concept to construction. They contextualise and solve multifaceted design problems through a holistic and multidisciplinary approach . Architectural Engineers are the contemporary Master Builders who coordinate the disciplines of Architecture, Environmental Design and Structural Engineering to deliver iconic, resilient and sustainable buildings.The BEng course can be studied with a placement year (4 years) or without (3 years). Completing a placement year successfully earns students an additional qualification.You will study environmental, structural, and architectural design in an interactive format. The traditional studies of building materials, mechanics of structures, building physics and environmental systems will be brought together with humanistic subjects and integrated through a series of design projects. These will be the common ground where the relevant disciplines come together to challenge and develop your skills as an Architectural Engineer.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) AAB (excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking, Communication and Culture and Citizenship Studies). In some circumstances we may ask applicants to achieve specific grades in certain subjects. While no specific A Level (or equivalent) subjects are required, we strongly prefer combinations drawn from traditional (academic) subjects to demonstrate a range of numerical, analytical and discursive abilities. These A Levels include: Ancient History, Biology, Classical Civilisation, Chemistry, Economics, English Language/Literature, Geography, Government and Politics, History, Languages (non-native), Law, Maths/Further Maths, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and Statistics.
