在這里學(xué)什么？ This course is primarily designed for high-calibre international students who have not studied the pre-requisite subjects needed for first year entry or those that have successfully completed 12 years of school education, and need an extra year of study.Aeronautical Engineering with an International Foundation Year is a course which will enable you to progress onto the first year of Automotive Engineering, provided the relevant progression criteria are met.Our international foundation course is taught in-house by University staff, including specialist Foundation teaching staff.As a student on the course you will be a full member of the University, with the same access to the Students’ Union, clubs, societies, sports facilities and support departments.You will be taught through a combination of lectures, seminars, workshops, labs and tutorials. During the year you will undertake modules in English (if required), Applicable Mathematics, Physics, Materials with Engineering Science and a choice of Programming with Electronics or Programming with Design.Special emphasis is placed on subject-specific tuition to prepare students for their chosen degree course, as well as developing the study skills needed for success in an independent learning environment.As a student on the International Foundation Programme you will receive high quality teaching from renowned Loughborough University academics, and be supported throughout your studies by an academic tutor. During the year you will undertake modules in English (if required), Applicable Mathematics, Physics and Engineering.Language modules will build your confidence with the English language. In addition, you will benefit from our University Library, IT services, Mathematics Learning Support Centre and wide range of health and welfare services, including tailored support for international students.Completing a foundation year can be a real attribute to your overall degree success. It not only opens doors to courses that may have previously looked closed, but also provides a sound base on which to establish a successful academic career. Many who have completed the foundation year have also said how beneficial it was to them in supporting their transition into University life.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 AAB (excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking, Communication and Culture and Citizenship Studies). In some circumstances we may ask applicants to achieve specific grades in certain subjects. While no specific A Level (or equivalent) subjects are required, we strongly prefer combinations drawn from traditional (academic) subjects to demonstrate a range of numerical, analytical and discursive abilities. These A Levels include: Ancient History, Biology, Classical Civilisation, Chemistry, Economics, English Language/Literature, Geography, Government and Politics, History, Languages (non-native), Law, Maths/Further Maths, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and Statistics.
