Our MA in Economics will give you the opportunity to explore this engrossing subject and its continual impact on our world.
Our intensive conversion course is designed to provide you with the skills necessary to allow you to pursue a career in the exciting and rewarding field of economics, regardless of your previous degree subject.
What you will study
Our MA Economics course will give you a thorough education in the theories and applications of economics. You’ll study the core principles of microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics, gaining a critical awareness of current economic problems and insights. You’ll also develop the ability to combine relevant analytical techniques with insightful data analysis to produce economic conclusions.
The range of optional modules on this course will allow you to shape your course to match your personal interests and career aspirations. You can choose from an extensive list of topics which currently includes: international finance, risk management, energy and development.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To apply for one of our postgraduate courses that require a UK 2:1, the grade requirement depends on the institution you have studied at in China. Our usual requirement is 75% or 80% overall. For courses that require a UK 2:2, you must achieve 70% or 75% overall, depending on the institution at which you have studied, IELTS Academic: 5.5 overall with 5.0 in each component
