On this course, you’ll: gain an understanding of the main aspects of risk management in business; apply mathematics to financial risk description, analysis and quantification; experience Sussex’s strong foundation of interdisciplinary research. The MSc draws on expertise from industry professionals, so you’ll gain the knowledge and skills to succeed in the fast-paced corporate world. Topics covered include quantitative analysis, regulation, implementation and management structure. You’ll have a choice between practice- and research-oriented study and can explore further topics including programming or statistics. You’ll learn from established specialists in both the Department of Mathematics and the University of Sussex Business School.
