Biomedical engineering is the application of engineering principles and methods to problems in biology and medicine. The discipline includes the study of fundamental processes in biology and physiology, the study of the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury, and the design and development of medical devices and techniques. Students take courses in mathematics, biology, biomedical engineering, and areas of science and engineering that are relevant to the degree objectives.

The College of Science and Engineering includes 12 academic departments that offer a wide range of degree programs at the baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral levels.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. or a comparable degree from an officially recognized college or university outside the U.S. may apply for graduate admission. In general, most graduate programs prefer an undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher for admission. Other English Language Requirements: MELAB score of 80.
