在這里學(xué)什么？ Not just quiet contemplation – philosophy has great practical value. You study philosophy and art history together in order to appreciate the relationships between them with a degree of critical awareness. Our unique approach enables you to develop skills which are now vital in a society dominated by the visual image and visual forms of communication.You will develop the skills you need to transform your excitement about art, architecture and visual culture into the ability to uncover new insights about the material you study. Our particular strengths in ethics, political philosophy, philosophy of religion and European philosophy will give you a solid grounding in philosophy. You spend your third year on a placement gaining relevant work experience within an external business or organisation, giving you a competitive edge in the graduate job market and providing you with key contacts within the industry.
