專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ We specialise in commercial law, public law, and human rights law. Our LLB Law teaches you to develop a critical awareness of the nature of law within its social, political and economic contexts. We place emphasis on the fundamentals of law so you study modules such as criminal law, contract law, public law, property law, tort law, land law, equity and trusts. We also offer a number of optional modules to allow you flexibility in studying the modules you're interested in. Over the duration of your degree you acquire the ability to construct a logical argument and to communicate that argument clearly, both orally and in writing, as well as to consider, evaluate and respond to alternative and, possibly, conflicting points of view.You also have the opportunity to take part in a number of extracurricular activities to build on your credentials for future employment. Volunteer at our Law Clinic offering legal advice to real clients, participate in mooting competitions, test your skills in client interviewing competitions, join our law, human rights and bar societies and take advantage of networking opportunities with visiting law firms.You spend your third year studying abroad allowing you to experience other cultures and languages, to broaden your degree socially and academically, and to demonstrate to employers that you are mature, adaptable, and organised.
