在這里學(xué)什么？ Financial crisis. Unemployment. Immigration. Market competition. Economics helps us shape the present and improve our future. Lead by some of the most prominent economists in the field and students coming from across the globe to study, research or work with us, our Department of Economics is ranked among the top 150 departments on the planet according to the QS World University Rankings (2017). Our BSc differs from BA Economics in that you must take mathematical modules in your second year. You experience all aspects of economics and mathematics, including micro and macroeconomics, and an introduction to quantitative research methods. In your first year you take optional modules from the social sciences. During your second year, you build on these skills, both in economic theory and mathematical methods, and you specialise in areas that you find most interesting in your final year. This four-year version of our degree allows you to spend the third year studying abroad, while otherwise remaining identical to the three-year course.
