Program Learning Outcomes for the MS Degree in the field of Computer Science
Upon completing the MS degree in the field of Computer Science, students will be able to:
Acquire a solid foundation in Computer Science at the graduate level. Conduct an independent research program. Demonstrate professional skills in both oral and written communication. Students pursuing the MS degree in the field of Computer Science must complete:
- A minimum of 30 credit hours at the 500-level or above to satisfy degree requirements.
The MS degree is a research degree requiring a thesis in addition to coursework. Students enrolled in the PhD program must meet additional requirements before they receive the MS degree.
