COURSE OVERVIEW
Software Engineering underpins many aspects of modern life. It may operate beneath the surface, but the function of intelligent software has the ability to touch our every waking second, and even when we sleep. The inner workings of software have a profound influence across the world, from the ethics of social media algorithms to delivering connectivity in developing nations. It continues to redefine how we live, learn and work.
A Software Engineering degree from Swansea University can help you find your place in the ever-shifting digital landscape. You will receive a strong grounding for a range of dynamic careers in related fields such as data science, security analysis and emerging technologies.

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
We offer CV workshop and you will have access to our Employment Zone, which advertises work placements, part time vacancies and graduate jobs. We have dedicated staff who will always be on hand to provide employability support, throughout your studies.
We hold an annual ‘Project Fair’, giving students the chance to display their third year projects to leading Industry experts. Companies such as Google often visit our students to give lectures on ‘how to get a job with tech giants’.
