The MA by Research in Education Studies will help advance your career in education and teach you invaluable research techniques.
Course Overview
This course does not include any formal module teaching. This dissertation route is assessed at Master's level and you will work primarily on a one-to-one basis with a supervisor who is an experienced researcher in the field.
Research Themes
Our main research themes are childhood, cultural and creative learning, school leadership and improvement, religions and education research, life sciences education, special needs education and disability research and international development and education.
Teaching and Learning
Students will be required to complete the Foundation Research Methods course, although this is not part of the assessment. The MA by Research is examined entirely on the thesis and the viva.
