What that success looks like is up to you.**The course**Germany has always been at the heart of the European intellectual tradition and is now the driving force of its economy and the EU. Our modules reflect the range and diversity of Germany’s culture, history and society. Intensive language work opens up the richness of German language and cultural life. This means you’ll graduate as a highly qualified linguist with advanced intercultural skills, and a deep understanding of key issues and developments in Germany’s past and present.Your second or third year is spent abroad, either as a language assistant, or working or studying at one of our partner universities (at present including Berlin, Munich, Cologne and Dresden). We also currently hold a residential course in Germany open to all of our students on their year abroad. When you return to Warwick, you can choose research-led modules taught by leading thinkers in their field. You will have access to outstanding facilities and resources, including flexible, collaborative and individual learning spaces, as well as a vast selection of print, digital and multimedia learning materials.
