Careers and skills
This course will provide you with the essential postgraduate skills you need to follow a career in applied or quantitative finance. It will act as a stepping stone to a financial position in, for example, financial analysis, investment management or corporate finance. The Masters is also an ideal basis for progression to a PhD.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 For a postgraduate taught course such as a Masters, you would normally need a Bachelors degree from a recognised institution in a relevant subject. The score you will need depends on which university you attended in China and which subject you are applying to. Typically you would need at least the equivalent to a UK upper second class honours degree, however some courses will accept lower second class honours degrees. Actual requirements will vary by course: A score of 80 to 85 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:1; A score of 75 to 80 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:2. If you're a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability.
