Globalisation means an ever-increasing demand for specialists in economics and finance.
This intellectually demanding course will provide you with the essential skills you need to follow professional careers in these areas or to pursue further research.
Aimed at students with a prior knowledge of economics, this course will give you a thorough grounding in theoretical and applied finance and economics. You'll join one of the largest economics departments in the country and be taught by highly qualified staff.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) For a postgraduate taught course such as a Masters, you would normally need a Bachelors degree from a recognised institution in a relevant subject. The score you will need depends on which university you attended in China and which subject you are applying to. Typically you would need at least the equivalent to a UK upper second class honours degree, however some courses will accept lower second class honours degrees. Actual requirements will vary by course: A score of 80 to 85 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:1; A score of 75 to 80 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:2. If you're a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability.
