As a research student in the Department, you'll be joining a community of academics working to deliver high quality, impact-focused reasearch that informs health and healthcare policy and influences practice.

As a research student in our Department, you'll have the flexibility to tailor your studies to achieve your research goals and will benefit from our in-depth, bespoke research training programme which supports the development of essential subject specific skills. You'll be able to study a range of modules covering a variety of different research methodologies and key concepts in health sciences.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) For a postgraduate taught course such as a Masters, you would normally need a Bachelors degree from a recognised institution in a relevant subject. The score you will need depends on which university you attended in China and which subject you are applying to. Typically you would need at least the equivalent to a UK upper second class honours degree, however some courses will accept lower second class honours degrees. Actual requirements will vary by course: A score of 80 to 85 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:1; A score of 75 to 80 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:2. If you're a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability.
