Evaluate and debate the fairness of educational practices.
This course is ideal if you have an interest in diversity, inclusion, equality and a fair and decent society. It's especially useful for current and future teachers as well as potential policy makers and researchers.
Educational policymakers, researchers and teachers recognise that social justice is fundamental to their work. This course will equip you to investigate the pedagogical and professional issues that relate to social justice.
Course content
In the Autumn term compulsory modules will introduce you to the tools and techniques you'll use throughout the course and in your career. You'll also choose some modules that will allow you to build a course that suits your interests and career.
In the Spring term you'll study a compulsory module that will allow you to develop your skills and experience of communicating research while again having a choice of modules that allow you to tailor this masters to your own interests.
Finally in the Summer term you'll continue developing your research skills, while also working on your dissertation.

為來自中國的學生設計 For a postgraduate taught course such as a Masters, you would normally need a Bachelors degree from a recognised institution in a relevant subject. The score you will need depends on which university you attended in China and which subject you are applying to. Typically you would need at least the equivalent to a UK upper second class honours degree, however some courses will accept lower second class honours degrees. Actual requirements will vary by course: A score of 80 to 85 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:1; A score of 75 to 80 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:2. If you're a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability.
