Our MA in Music Education is a unique course for musicians interested in developing their instrumental and vocal teaching skills.
You'll explore practical and theoretical concepts of music education, as well as aspects of psychology, music psychology and health. By drawing on your own experiences, you'll develop your understanding of instrumental pedagogy and develop strategies for reflective practice, helping you to enhance your capabilities and confidence as a teacher.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) For a postgraduate taught course such as a Masters, you would normally need a Bachelors degree from a recognised institution in a relevant subject. The score you will need depends on which university you attended in China and which subject you are applying to. Typically you would need at least the equivalent to a UK upper second class honours degree, however some courses will accept lower second class honours degrees. Actual requirements will vary by course: A score of 80 to 85 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:1; A score of 75 to 80 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:2. If you're a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability.
