MA in Music gives you time, facilities and authoritative guidance from academics and professional musicians to concentrate on your own musical interests.
The course is taught in Pathways, allowing you to focus your studies on your interests. Typically, there are around six students working with a supervisor on a pathway, and during the year you will concentrate on your own specialist projects. There are no major pieces of work thrust upon you that do not respect the independent nature of your pursuits. Instead, you produce Guided Submissions for the first two terms and an Independent Submission during the summer term and summer vacation.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) For a postgraduate taught course such as a Masters, you would normally need a Bachelors degree from a recognised institution in a relevant subject. The score you will need depends on which university you attended in China and which subject you are applying to. Typically you would need at least the equivalent to a UK upper second class honours degree, however some courses will accept lower second class honours degrees. Actual requirements will vary by course: A score of 80 to 85 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:1; A score of 75 to 80 per cent is considered comparable to a UK 2:2. If you're a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability.
