專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ Electronics encompasses a wide range of technologies from fibre-optics to mobile technology, from music technology to nanoscale devices. Advances in each of these areas requires strong team-work, and these teams have to be directed, organised and inspired by managers, trained to anticipate, understand, avoid and overcome problems. This programme aims to develop the skills required to manage engineers and engineering teams on scales from the smallest start-up to global industry. To succeed in these environments, graduates need to be knowledgeable, highly-skilled, professional and adept at communication and all aspects of project management. This programme aims to provide these skills, developed through a series of group and individual projects, as well as providing a strong, broad knowledge of electronics. As with all our undergraduate degrees, the MEng Electronic Engineering with Business Management is fully accredited by the Institute of Engineering and Technology, and satisfies the educational requirements for becoming a Chartered Engineer.
