This course is for Graduates who have little or no business experience and want a career in finance or accounting. Overview
Receive a solid theoretical foundation in accounting and finance. Use your quantitative skills and enhance your employability. You’ll graduate prepared for a finance-related career.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of the financial system. You’ll learn to analyse financial decisions and the motivations of people making them. You’ll apply this knowledge in a range of real-world scenarios.
Our course brings in expertise from the University’s departments of Mathematical Sciences and Economics. This ensures you’ll have access to a wide range of teaching and research experience.

Teaching and learning
You’ll learn from academics who are experts in the fields of accounting and finance. Your learning experience will be enriched by the research activities and collaborations of academic staff.
We will also offer a wide range of opportunities for personal development. These will be delivered by specialists in our Careers Service, Academic Skills Centre and Library, or in partnership with the Students’ Union.
All units are taught on campus. You will experience a variety of teaching methods including:

Methods of assessment
Units are assessed by a combination of formal examinations and coursework.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have a first or 2:1 Honours degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject, from a recognized university. A Masters degree or appropriate research training is also desirable. We consider applicants without Masters or appropriate research training on a case by case basis. We might require applicants to satisfactorily complete one of our Masters programmes, or to attend some/all of the units of our MRes programmes while undertaking the MPhil or PhD programme. English language requirement: IELTS 7 (with no less than 6.5 in each component).
